SPRING BREAK
Whether you're planning a trip for spring break or just relishing in the celebration of warmer weather, we all want to ring in the sunshine feeling good about ourselves. To lose weight, tone up and feel healthy by the mid-March, follow this simple schedule to burn over 19,800 cals.
  • Go to a vigorous exercise class 4 times per week. Burn approx.  550 caloriesper hour. 
  • Going 4 times per week will burn 2,200 cals per week,9,900 cals per month, and 19,800 cals by spring break. That's about
    5 - 6 pounds ( 3,500 calories = 1 pound)
  • Try to nix 100 cals per day from what you eat by making simple changes--order skim milk in your coffee (-80), avoid soda (-150), swap an apple for your chips at lunch (-100), and start taking out processed junk food little by little getting more bang for your buck with each calorie you eat. This adds up quickly at 700 cals per week--almost 1 poundper month can be shed by these changes alone.
  • Don't be a scaredy cat - alternate between classes to shock your body every week.
  • Your new motto: slow and steady wins the race. Healthy weight loss takes time, but it also stays off when you do it the right way.
